WKU Forensics Team wins tournaments at Ball State

The WKU Forensics Team traveled to Muncie, Indiana, to take part in two tournaments the weekend of Oct. 10-11.

The tournaments were co-hosted by Ball State University and Illinois State University. Ball State will also host the National Forensic Association National Tournament in April. WKU swept the team sweepstakes at both tournaments, ahead of 14 schools, including the University of Texas at Austin, Northwestern University, Illinois State University, Bradley University and Eastern Michigan University. Junior Camille Acosta ranked in the top three in individual sweepstakes at both tournaments, a measure of personal success across multiple events.

Next weekend, the team will split to travel in two different directions. Some team members will travel to the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; others will compete at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri.
